Nokia carries out almost 200 tests on their cell phones before sending them to the dealers.
Now I realised why the world is Nokia fan and why their customer's are loyal to them.

Tucked away in "Google Advanced Image Search" is a feature that lets you search the web for faces. You can easily find people who are happy, funny or glum. If you want a new look, you can find people with good hair, bad hair or no hair. You can even find pictures of people with their pets.
To try it out, visit Google Image Search, click on the Advanced Image Search link, and look for the choices in the "Content" section. Select "faces" option and start searching for.

Friends, today I have posted my 100th blog post on "NetBhet". I am a newbie in blogsphere. But I am really enjoying it.

गुगलला जगातील सर्वात क्रीएटीव्ह (सॄजनशील) कंपनी समजले जाते. दररोज करोडो लोकांना गुगलच्या क्रीएटीव्हीटीचा प्रत्यय येतो. फक्त आपल्या वेब साइट्स आणि सॉफ्टवेअर्स पुरता ही क्रीएटीव्हीटी मर्यादीत न ठेवता गुगलने जीवनाच्या प्रत्येक अंगात याचा समावेश केला आहे. असाच एक नवीन प्रयोग गुगलच्या माउंटन व्ह्यु ( Mountain View headquarters) येथील मुख्यलयात करण्यात आला.
गुगल ऑफीसच्या बाहेरील माळरानावर वाळलेले गवत आहे. आगीचा संभाव्य धोका टाळण्यासाठी ते वेळोवेळी कापावे लागते. यासाठी नेहमी वापरल्या जाणार्या गवत कापणार्या यंत्रामुळे ध्वनी आणी वातावरण प्रदुषीत होते. हा प्रश्न सोडवण्यासाठी गुगलने चक्क २०० शेळ्या मागवल्या. एक आठवड्यासाठी या शेळ्यांनी गुगलकडे हंगामी स्वरुपावर नोकरी केली.
गुगलला या कामात खर्च जवळपास तीतकाच झाला. पण प्रदुषण झाले नाही आणि जमीनीला शेळ्यांनी खत दीले ते वेगळेच!
आणि सगळ्यात महत्त्वाचे म्हणजे गवत कापणार्या यंत्रापेक्षा २०० शेळ्यांना एकत्र पाहण्यात गुगलच्या स्टाफला जो आनंद मिळाला तो काही औरच !

In last few months slideshare.com has became one of my favourite website. Though I don't visit this site everyday (As I do for esnips.com or Google.com !), but landing on this site once a while is always a pleasant experience.
On sunday, I was just surfing through my favourites and I happened to see this beautiful presentation named "Amazing amazon".
It's about Amazon, world's largest tropical rainforest. Full of life and biodiversity.
This amazing presentation of 56 slides by Glaucia Peres was also a contestant for "World's best presentation 2008".
I like this presentation for the photos, facts and the most important "message".
Facts like - "Only 10% of species in the Amazon are known to us" and " Amazon has 10 times more species of fishes than the entire Europe" really amazes me.
But what really appeals and at the same times disturbs me is the fact that, "In 2007, Amazon lost 46 sq. km per day of it's forest cover. It is equivalent to 7 soccer fields per minute"
Read. Think and Act.

ब्लॉगर.कॉम आणि वर्डप्रेस्.कॉम हे ब्लॉगींगसाठी उपलब्ध असलेले सर्वोत्तम पर्याय आहेत. या दोन साइट्स मुळे ब्लॉगींग अस्तीत्वात आहे असे म्हणायला हरकत नाही. पण एखाद्या नवीन ब्लॉगरला या दोन साइट मधुन एक पर्याय निवडणे मात्र खुप कठीण जाते. दोन्ही साईटस तशाच तुल्यबळ आहेत.
वर्डप्रेस खुपच विचारपुर्वक बनवण्यात आलेली सुबक आणि सुरेख साइट आहे तर ब्लॉगर ही वापरण्यास अतीशय सोपी अशी ब्लॉगींग साइट आहे. वेब डीझाइनर्सना विचाराल तर ते नेहमीच वर्डप्रेस ला पसंती देतात. कारण टेक्निकली वर्डप्रेस सरस आहे.
पण वर्डप्रेसमध्ये दोन प्रमुख उणीवा आहेत. वर्डप्रेस खुपच कमी टेम्प्लेट्स (म्हणजे ब्लॉगच्या डीझाइन्स) उपल्ब्ध करुन देते आणि ब्लॉगर.कॉम प्रमाणे यात डीझाइन्स मध्ये बदल करण्याची किंवा नविन विजेट्स अंतर्भुत करण्याची सोय देखील नसते. आणि दुसरी उणीव म्हणजे ब्लॉगर्.कॉम प्रमाणे यात जाहीरातींचा वापर करता येत नाही. ब्लॉग मधुन पैसे मिळवण्याची इच्छा असणार्यांचा (माझ्यासारख्या) यामुळे हिरमोड होतो.
पण तरीदेखील वर्डप्रेस वापरण्याची सवय असलेल्या कोणालाही दुसरी कोणतीही ब्लॉगसर्वीस वापरणे आवडत नाही. अशा सर्व ब्लॉगधारकांसाठी एक असा उपाय अस्तीत्वात आहे कि जो ब्लॉगर आणि वर्डप्रेस या दोघांचाही सुवर्णमध्य गाठतो.

Google has asked school students in the united status to design a logo for Google. And an award ceremony for 40 regional winners was heldat the Googleplex in Mountain View.
Some of these kid's creations are better imaginative art than most of us adults.
